What type of screw driver do I need to remove the three screws in the back of the drum (part #131477000), and the two screws in the lint cover housing (part # 131303300)?
Answer Hello Nevada,
Frigidaire uses large Phillips head screws that can also accept square bits. Since there are few Phillips head bits that fit snugly enough to loosen and tighten them without stripping the head, I always use the square bits in them. They have also been known to use several sizes of Torx bits but this is not as common since they cost a bit more.
How do I get the drum out of the cabinet. I think I have everything loose. There are 3 screws left in the middle of the drum. Do I need to unscrew them to remove drum? Thanks
Answer Hello Robert,
The 3 screws in the middle of the drum do hold it in place. You may also look in at the back of the drum and make sure that it will not just lift out. It may be necessary to remove screws if it does not lift out of place.
What direction do you attach the heater cover to the back of the drum?
Answer Hello Teresa. The heater attaches to the back wall with the bottom making contact with the wall. Then the baffle, will install with the ridges facing outward. Here is a link to the diagram to help you with the install. Hope this helps. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5151086&diagram_id=1238628
