I need to get part# 316403101 to replace my oven door seal. How do I do it?

How does this adhere? I am reluctant to remove the old one until I have the new one. Will I need an adhesive? I don't think this one uses clips?

Answer Hi Mary. The door seal part # 316403101 does not glue on at all. You need to put a shipping blanket on your table and lay the door faced up on the table. Than you can remove the side trim and bottom trim screws to lift the inner door off. Then you can take needle nose pliers to pull the gasket / clips off the outer door panel. The ends neatly fold in the door interior so they lay flat on the insulation. Thank you.
