Dishwasher runs wash cycles and stays on rinse and does stop. What can I do to fix this?
Lina for Model Number FDB1050REB5
Answer Hello Lina. Make sure the heater is working good in the unit. If so, you will need to order and replace the control module 154712101 on the unit.
The water valve leaked water and the dishwasher sat in about 1/2 for sometime. I fixed the valve and water goes into the dishwaser but it does not wash or darin the water. There is some rust on the pump and corotion on the turbidity sensor? What can I do?

Answer Tim, You could try and clean the deposits off the sensor, using hot water and distilled white vinegar or a citric acid based cleaner. Soak the "clear end of the sensor, then use an old tooth brush to scrub and clean it, just be very carefiul. For the motor, first thing to try, remove the lower wash arm, support and filters, remove the volute cover 154245501, and use your finger or screwdriver and turn the impeller several revolutions, this should "break" the shaft seal and shaft loose and the motor may run fine from then on.
The lower sprayer arm melted. Is this a electrical problem or something else?
Lisa for Model Number FDBB4365FBO
Answer Hello Lisa. If the spray arm becomes loose, it can release and hit the heater and melt on the units. I would check and see if the arm is loose and made contact with the heater. If so, replace the spray arm in the unit.
