The lower sprayer arm melted. Is this a electrical problem or something else?
Answer Hello Lisa. If the spray arm becomes loose, it can release and hit the heater and melt on the units. I would check and see if the arm is loose and made contact with the heater. If so, replace the spray arm in the unit.
The washer will not drain. has standing water after cycle. I have changed the drain pump and checked for any blocked hoses. Not sure what else would keep the tub from draining. Motor runs and no water drains though the pump.
Answer Hello Brian. If the drain pump 154580301 is new and the hoses are clear and the sump assembly in the machine is not clogged, you will need to test for power to the drain pump during drain. If there is no power coming to the drain pump, you will need to replace the control board 154663005 if the wires are good. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
