I have a fridgidaire refrigerator that all of a sudden quit working when the sensor got caught in the ice maker auger.. Will replacing the sensor fix the refrigerator? Model # LGUB2642LFS We have no lights or cooling. It won't turn on by the control pad. We have power to the unit. When I touch the bare wires you could feel an electrical current. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you David

Latest Questions

I have an Electrolux Icon double refrigerator drawer unit. It was working fine until we had to unplug it and pull it out of it's location in order to install the ice maker beside it. It was unplugged for several hours. When we plugged it back in, it started alarming. The high temp light does not come on but the door ajar lights up when you open to cancel the alarm. I am not sure if the door ajar is lighting up just because we now have it open or if there is a problem with the seal? We did have to pull it out from under the counter by pulling on the lower drawer to get it moving. It has been alarming non stop for 3 days now. It does not seem to be cooling properly. It is cool but not feeling as cold as it was prior to this episode. It is set at 38 degrees F. I have tried flipping the breaker off for 10 minutes and restarting it with no success. Do you have any ideas?

Water line to dispenser freezes. Temp is set to 6, but runs 2-4 deg colder. I found at first relocating items to allow better air flow helped, but then it started again after 6 months or so. Water line freezes as soon as internal temp hits about 4, depending on ambient temp. Does this sound like it's worth changing the sensor? Thanks!
