I bought this item and it arrived without screws. I found one screw that would sort-of hold it in but most screws do not grab, the threads are too shallow. Shouldn't it have arrived with screws?! For the price paid I feel like the hardware should have been included. Could you tell me what kind of screw I need; something I can buy at Home Depot? Thank you.

Latest Questions

Is there a lint filter cover that will work with the kenmore 417.83142300 that does not have the sensor? We don't use the auto dry cycle. The cover is physically broken is the reason for replacement. Looking around on the internet I found some that look like it and they were much cheaper I'm assuming because they don't have the sensor but don't want to buy something that won't fit.

I just asked a question about how the female moisture sensor wire ends connect to the male connectors. Am I understanding right that as long as one wire is connected to the top sensor and the other wire is connected to the bottom sensor, it doesn't matter if they are connected on the same side (top/bottom) or on opposite sides (top to bottom). X----- X OR X------ X OR X X------ Y------ Y Y Y------ Y------ Y THANK. Hopefully, I not confusing you. The above X's and Y's represent the male tongue connectors on the lint filter housing (and connected to the metal sensors on the other side)and the dotted lines the female connector wires coming from inside the dryer body.

I cleaned my filter trap and took off the sensor moisture assembly by removing two screws. I disconnected the two wires which hooked up to the moisture sensor assembly and I forgot which spade, top or bottom, the wire with a white stripe hooks up to. I know which side they hook up to but is the wire with the white stripe on the top or bottom spade connector as you look at the enclosed diagram of part ap2107715: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/Appliance-Parts/frigidaire-sensor---moisture--assembly-w-harness-item-number-ap2107715.aspx Thanks.
