Answer Steve, You would want to get a new o ring and you would not want to use silicone. To get the tub separated, When you are hitting with the hammer and piece of wood, you will want to make sure that the tub is slightly elevated off the ground and that the inner tub can drop about an inch when it comes free. If not doing this way then it will not come loose.

Answer Trayce, If you are seeing rust coming from the center of the back of the tub and the unit sounds like a jet taking off then yes the bearings are bad and you would need to replace the rear outer tub.

Answer Hello Kathy, To replace the rear bearing in this unit you will have to replace the outer rear tub 134509510 as manufacturer does not supply just the bearings for unit.

Answer Noah, Three things have to occurr in order for the washer to spin. The loading door has to lock and stay locked, especially during the spin cycle AP4455026], check and make sure the door stays locked, the whole cycle. The washer tub has got to be empty of water, in order to spin. check the drain pump 137221600 and drain hoses for clogs, and operation. The water pressure switch 134762000 must reset to the empty position, once the tub is empty, so you will need to check the air tube for debris and clogs(blow in the end of the hose, to clear it) and check the pressure switch operation.

Answer Hello Dave. Some techs use the impact drills to remove the screws out of the shafts. They are very tight and hard to remove. Hope this helps.

Answer Hello Ed. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the shell 134509510 is bad and will need to be replaced. This is due to the seal going bad in the unit. Hope this helps.
