I know the bearings are shot and i need to replace the rear shell. The problem is I cant get the spider shaft off the shell. I have sprayed it and beat the heck out of it using a hammer and a block of wood. I have been beating it for a few days now. I'm hoping I don't have to by a drum to. Also do I need to put a new o ring on the shell, or is it alright to use a little silicone on top of the old one. thanks. Steve
