WHAT DOES THIS DO, AND, WHERE IS IT???
SLINGER PUMP SHOWS ON DIAGRAM AS UNDER PUMP COMPARTMENT. WHEN I LOOK INTO PUM COMPARTMENT THROUGH HOSE FITTINGS, I SEE AN IMPELLER. I CANNOT SEE HOW THIS IMPELLER CAN BE REMOVED SINCE THE PUMP COMPARTMENT APPEARS TO BE SEALED??
THANKS

Answer Bob, Apparently you have a leak or maybe a noise from the pump assembly ? The "slinger" would be mounted to the bottom of the pump on the inside. It's purpose would be to "Sling" liquids away from the shaft and bearing assemblies. Now a days, most drain pumps are a sealed unit and not repairable. In short, you'll need to replace the pump assembly 131208500 Thanks and Good Luck
