After losing electrical power during a storm, my refrigerator is not getting cold, although it's on. A repair technician told me to order the "Relay Switch" for the "Compressor". However, there isn't a part that is described exactly as a "Compressor Relay Switch". Please tell me what part it would be, perhaps with another name or description. Thank you.

The start device, (start relay and overload), is 241524605. When you remove the old one, if it's bad, it will rattle when you shake it. The ceramic disk has shattered inside the device if it rattles and will require replacement. If it doesn't rattle, you should check for voltage at the device. If no voltage is present, the adaptive defrost control 5303918476 will require replacement.
