My machine stops before the rinse and spin cycle. Is this cuase by the lid switch or could it be something else?
Answer Hello Alponda,
Yes this could be caused by the lid switch. You can test the lid switch for continuity. If you have continuity through the lid switch with lid closed then the switch is good. If no continuity with lid closed then switch is bad. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
Can the lock on the lid be bypassed? I hate waiting for it to release.
Answer Hello Michelle. No, you can not bypass the lock assembly on the washer. Hope this helps.
Is this what allows the washer to cycle when the lid is closed and is a part of the lid assembly?
Answer Hello Brian. Yes, the lid strike 131390000 is the strike for the lid switch assembly 134101800. The strike is mounted to the washer lid. Hope this helps.
