Answer Hello Gfbower. Check for power coming from the switch to the element. If it is there, replace the switch in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Answer Hello Walt. You will connect the new element 316418400 the same way the old was connected. Also, there is a wiring diagram on the unit to help you if needed. Frigidaire does not offer instructions on installing this element, so it installs as the old element was installed. Answer Hi Ray. The Lt. Front infinite switch is part # 318191002. The RT. front infinite switch is part # 318191002. If you are not getting 240 vac output from the switch at the H-2 and L-2 on the low mid and high settings, you have a defective switch. Thank You.
