Will a faulty lid switch keep the machine from agitating? The machine will fill with water but will not agitate. It does spin the water out.
Answer Michael, Yes, if the lid lock switch assembly 134101800 has failed or has a broken wire, the motor won't run, but the washer will fill and drain. That's a very good place to start the diagnosis.
The washer starts filling with water and never stops filling just over runs with water. What would cause this?
Answer Hello Kk. If you can stop the water from entering the machine by turning off the timer or unplugging the unit, you will need to look for a bad pressure hose or replace the pressure switch. If the only way to shut off the water is at the shut off for the water hoses, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit.
