Answer Hello David, Check your switch to make sure that you are getting 240vac from L1 to L2. If you are getting power at this point then you would check H1 to H2 with switch turned on to make sure that you are getting 240VAC. If you are getting 240vac and your wiring on the element is correct then you will want to check wiring from switch to element for breaks or damage. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
