I bought the replacement switch 903136-9010 for my flattop range FED365EBC. The old switch worked okay, but would occasionally not turn off when pointed to off. I switched the leads one at a time to matching terminals and it all seemed to work. Then we noticed that it ran hotter on all of the lower settings. I tested it with an IR thermometer and found it was similar to the other burners at the same setting. Now I am missing the old switch that ran less hot because it was useful to keep things warm after they were cooked or to very gently warm something up. Is there a replacement switch available that runs at a lower temperature at the lower settings?

I need to know - what wire goes to which "prong" on the infinite switch (903136-9010) - I know that the black wire is for the pilot but I do not know where the 2 single orange wires or the combination blue/red or black/grey wires go prongs are - L1 L2 H1 H2

I just ordered a new infinite switch for the front left burner. The old one has seven separate connectors on the back , the new one has five.... I called customer service and they tell me the old switch is discontinued and this is the correct one. What do I do about two extra wires? Thanks!

Latest Questions

The screws for 903136-9010 were to long and would not allow the knob to rotate, I got some screws like were with the -9020 switches and they worked fine, just wondering what the deal was with the longer screws.

Please tell me how to connect the new switches for the large and small burner. They are about 3/8" longer than original and the switch for the small burner has only 5 connectors, while the original small burner switch has 7 connectors. The instructions that were included with the switches are really basic and not helpful.

Noticed smell of burning plastic when using cook top (bought 2005). We turned cook top off, then the clock went out. Beeping noise then started, then I cut power via the breaker. When I removed top cover this control switch seemed to smell the worst, but I cannot tell if this is what was wrong 100%. Is there a way for me to tell what problem was, does range give an error code? Thanks.
