When I start the wash cycle, dishwasher fills with water but don't seem to fill all the way. Then nothing happens for serveral minutes and then drains out water. After draining then it goes into a wash cycle with no water in it, it doesn't refill with water. Is this the electronic control or switch assembly.

Answer Hi Willie. If there is power to the motor, and it does not run, you will need to replace the motor kit 154844301. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. If the unit did not fill up fully then it may need the float part # 154767801 or the float switch part # 154773201. If the switch body side cover is open it will allow for erroneous fills. remove the lower kick plate and see if the float stem is off to one side of the switch lever. Thank You.
My dishwasher starts the wash cycle and just stays there. It will just continue to run. If I hit cancel it will drain the water. Do I need a new switch assembly?

Answer Hello Sue,
This sounds like a bad heating circuit. You will either need a new element 154825001, a new electronic control 154776601, or the resettable thermostat is tripped or failed 154290204. The only other thing it could be is a wiring issue, (burned, knocked off, or chewed off by an unwanted visitor).
