Answer Hello Franklin. It sounds like you may have a defrost problem with the unit. Check and see if there is any frost build up on the back wall of the freezer. If so, you will need to test the defrost heater and the defrost thermostat. They should read closed for continuity when cold. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. I will include a link at the end to assist you how to use the multi-meter if needed. If both parts are good, you will need to replace the defrost timer. Answer Dave, before you replace the cold control, have you checked to make sure the freezer back wall is not coated in frost or ice, this would be a defrost issue, and could restrict the air flow to the refrigerator compartment, also check the ceiling in the refrigerator compartmentfor moisture or droplets. Can you hear or feel the evaporator fan motor in the freezer compartment running and moving the air. Then check the air diffuser in the back portion of the refrigerator ceiling and make sure it's not blocked by an article on the shelf, or clogged with water or ice. If alls OK, then replace the cold control, and it's not a hard repair to perform at all, just make sure you install the repalcement part exactly the same as the original part, and you shouldn't have any issues after that.

Answer Hello Tina. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the temperature control 5304404821 is bad and will need to be replaced. If you are not able to adjust the temperature in the unit, then you will need to replace the control. Hope this helps.
