Hello, the temperature in my refrigerator section has gotten really cold the last month or so. I have tried turning down the thermostat inside the refrigerator to the lowest setting (1), but it made no difference in temperature. The highest setting is 7 on the dial. The compressor kicks in and stops as it should, though it kicks in more often than usual I think - every 20min or so even I do not open the fridge door. Would this be a faulty thermostat to blame? Thank you for your assistance.

We recently purchased this Frigidaire refrigerator and it seems that every time we open the frig compartment door the compressor cycles on. Doesn't happen when we open the freezer. And we don't leave the door open longer than a few seconds. What could be wrong? Two service techs have said that this is normal but I've owned plenty of refrigerators and have never experienced this. Thanks.

Several days ago my fridge and freezer temps began to rise. Having watched the repairman fix the same problem in an identical model, I repeated the same service. defrosted the freezer coils and found the water drain tube from the freezer was plugged. After cleaning out the debris I reassembled everything. both sides seemed to be working fine. the freezer still is working fine, however the fridge side temp has gone up again. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated ! Thank you

Both sides freeze, when I put it at factory setting. I now have fresh food side off and freezer side way down below factory setting. When freezer is running it blows cold air into fresh air side even though it is cut off. I need a thrermostat or cool air control. Thanks

2 weeks ago we noticed that the fridge was not as cold. Cool yes, around 44 degrees and ice maker really slowed down. Called the local repair dude and he ordered parts and installed them 2 days later. The part was a defrost timer. After 5 days of testing we still do not have a cold fridge and ice making is down to one discharge per day. I started working a little with the cold control knob. We use to run the unit at a 1 or 2. It is now set on 6 and after 24 hours we can't notice anything different. Any suggestions? I would have thought the repair dude would have checked the control. Thanks
