Not cooling good on either side, freezer and refrigerator. What controls both sides?
Answer Hello Randall. Check and see if there is a defrost issue. If not, it sounds like there is a sealed system failure in the unit. If the sealed system is bad, you will need an HVAC tech to repair the unit.
I have a ref that is reading 20 degrees in freezer and 35 degrees in ref i also have at times the ref going to high and beepeing but i replaced the control board figuring the at first the digital display was not working and thats fixed but still seem to be trouble any suggestion?
You will want to pull the rear wall from the freezer compartment and check the frost pattern on the coils. There should be a full even frost pattern from top to bottom. If there is a partial frost pattern then you will want to check to make sure that the condenser fan motor is running. If the condenser fan is running and the condenser coils are clean then you would have a sealed system issue in which there would be a leak somewhere in the system.
