Latest Questions

I recently noticed that my fridge side is not cooling like it used too. I usually had it on number 6 and have had to recently turn it up to 7-8 to keep it below 40F. The unit is 4 years old, I checked the rear of the unit by the compressor and cleaned the coils. Then I opened up the defrost area on the freezer side and replaced the evap fan motor with the defrost and cleaned the coils. The air from the freezer seems to be coming thru the damper to the fridge side. However, when I open the door of the fridge the temp seems to rise rapidly without the fan speeding up(going faster) due to the drop in temperature. I'm leaning towards replacing the Thermistor for the fridge side(F21). Does this register the temp for the fridge side and help to compensate by making the compressor kick on for lower temps.? All help is appreciated.
