How come my dryer get hot in the air dry cycle and stays hot and wont cool down?
Answer Hello Paul. Check the element and see if it is grounded and touching metal. This will cause it to stay on and not cycle off.
My dryer gets real hot and don't cool down at the end of the cycle. What could be causing this?
Answer Hello Paul. It sounds like the vent may be clogged and need to be cleaned out. Check the venting system on the unit.
My dryer is taking way to long to dry clothes.
Answer Hello Dave. It sounds like the venting system is clogged or kinked. You will need to check the vent and clean it out. Be sure and clean the vent pipe and the dryer air duct assembly. If the air flow is not good, the unit will retain moist air causing the clothes not to dry. Try running the unit with the vent unhooked from the back of the dryer and see if the dryer works properly.
