I have a #215846604 defrost timer, 6hr, 21 min., my ice in ice maker is sticking together after defrost cycle. Is there a shorter cycle time timer available or if not what do you think problem could be. Defrost thermostat and heater are working, thanks for your time.

The ice maker (model#HMG-9020) on my Montgomery Ward refrigerator (Model HMG186247A) was in the process of dumping a tray of ice (upside down position) when it started making a clicking noise and moved no further. The clicking has stopped but the ice maker has not move (still upside down). The ice never dumped from the tray. The bail wire is in the up position (not in the off position). Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How do I know if my defrost timer should be hooked up on 6 hour continuous (loose wire attached to terminal #1) or 6 hour cumulative (loose wire attached to terminal #2)? It has a four wire connector. Thanks for the Help!

Latest Questions

I purchased a new defrost timer and it came with a jumper wire which the original one did not have. My refrigerator has four wires going to the connector. The instructions state for the three wire hook up to connect the jumper between terminals 3 & 4. Is the jumper required for my application? I hooked it up per the instructions and after running for a period of time it blew the circuit breaker?? I removed the jumper, the refrigerator seems to be operating fine, but the defrost timer seems to get to a point and not move any further. Should this timer run continuously, like a clock? Have I damaged the timer? Thanks for your help!!
