Where can I find a ice maker water valve replacement?

I installed ice maker IM6000. The manufacturer claimed it would make several pounds of ice per day. It only put out a couple dozen cubes the first day. I found an adjustment screw behind the front panel so I turned it several times toward the "+" direction. Next day I had a ice bucket full of water in the freezer and a couple gallons of water in the catch tray underneath the fridge. Of course seems defective. Question is Is it the water inlet valve at the bottom back of the fridge or the ice making unit in the freezer that is defective? Or is it something I have not thought about? Thanks

ON all the videos I watch to test the ice maker motor, it shows the technician placing wire into some holes. The AD-18 does not have holes but it does have stubs sticking out. Do I use the wire across these stubs to test the motor and get voltmeter readings? If so, these stubs are not marked with letters like all the videos show. How do I know which stub is which? That is, if the stubs are even a substitute for the holes.
