When I pulled the agitator off to clean under it I ran the machine to get the water out. When it stopped I noticed a small bearing and spring where do they go before I put the agitator back on.
There should not be a spring and bearing under the agitator anywhere. It may be that it was in a pocket or that if the lid switch had ever failed and come apart that it came from that but otherwise would not be from you washer.
Hi, Can I lubricate the one way bearing on the transmission or the the transmission itself? There is noise it that bearing. Can I pull it off?
Answer Hello Joachim,
The bearing at the base of the transmission is a sealed bearing and lubrication will not silence it. You can also not pull it from the base of the transmission because the manufacturer made it on the transmission assembly. If you pull it off you will damage it and the transmission housing.
