Answer Hello Robert. The glass isn't glued to the trim at all. If it's stuck, it's been glued by a spill. The easiest way to get the glass off the old trim is with hot water. When I was running calls in the field, I would remove the door from the oven and ask the customer to run some hot water in the bathtub. This dissolves the grease and releases the glass from the trim without breaking anything or getting cut. It's my strong recommendation not to use any adhesive or tape of any sort. It would produce an odor during cooking that would make the food taste funny and in a self clean cycle it will stink up your whole house. If it were necessary, the manufacturer would have listed a part number. Hope this helps!
