I have the trunnion off and am replacing the tub seal kit because the tub was leaking at the shaft. I was wondering about this replacement trunnion, does it have a sleeve pressed into it. I noticed on mine where the seal kit upper piece goes against the trunnion, the trunnion sleeve, which appears to be brass is sorta chipped. Will this need to be replaced also?
Answer Jimmy, These are "water related" parts, anything chipped, rusted, or rough, needs to be replaced, or you'll have an ongoing leak. The "brass" ring you're describing, should be the upper portion of the tub seal kit, and you'll be removing and replacing it with the seal kit

After receiving a second shipment, 2 holes supposed to hold a plate in place against transmission were still drilled way too large. I know that I ordered correct screws for them. Am I missing something? Any tricks to install? What are the chances that I received two defective parts? Please help. Thank you.
Answer Hi Yuji. All the bottom tub mount holes are threaded. The flat plate mount holes are large enough for the bolts to pass through them and bolt into the flat plate. Hold the trunnion up so the flat plate will be squarely bolted onto the side of the transmission shaft as you are tightening both bolts. Thank You.
