How Do I Replace Line In Door That Goes To Water Despensor
To replace the water line on the door you will need to disassemble the dispenser assembly. This can be done by removing the drip tray and remove the 3 screws that hold the dispenser panel on. Once removed then you can remove the dispenser assembly. After dispenser is disassembled, remove the hinge cover at the top and disconnect the wiring harness. At the bottom of the door disconnect the water line. Once these are disconnected then you will want to remove the top hinge. Lift the door off the lower hinge. Pull the old water line out and install the new water line.
The water dispenser on the freezer door drips. I assume some seal needs cleaned or replaced. Where is the seal? How do I get to it?
Answer Hello Jack! Have you recently replaced the water filter? If so, try dispensing about a gallon of water to help purge the water line of any air pockets which could cause the dispenser to leak. If it continues to leak you may have a defective water inlet valve, part number 242252702. Hope this helps, thanks!
