Ice maker is not making ice. Water supply to Ice maker is good. Tube from valve to Ice Maker is clear. Checked Ohms on valve and get a reading. Checked voltage at AC 200 on my meter and get a range from 2.4 to 4 as the maker cycles. What would be the correct readings? Does it seem the valve is bad based on this info?

Hello , recently my Frigidaire top / bottom ice maker stopped making ice, I ran the cycle test by raising the fins in the maker and then hand turned the gear on the front. While the ice maker stated working again, and the ice is the correct size.. it takes literally days to make a half tray of ice. I also checked the tube from the water valve to inside the freezer and is seems not blocked. I am getting plenty of water flow when I take the water line off the water valve. So my question is: if the ice maker is working but making ice hyper-slowly, would it be a clogged or failing water valve. Thanks for any help

Replaced Valve-Water Part Number: AP5671756 Made by: Frigidaire Old ice maker water valve sprung a leak. Replace with new part worked at first but Ice was hollow. Now does not make any ice. Old valve had screw on water inlet new valve has just the hole. I cut the incoming water line and put it in the hole. Why is there now no water flowing?
