I tried replacing both the fan and control board.. after neither worked i started playing with the wire to the fan. I noticed that with the fan disconnected, the dishwasher (while showing error code) would try to start again after wiggling the plastic connector that plugs into the fan assembly. my final diagnosis is that one of the wires in the connector is loose. My question is if there is a way to purchase just the plastic connector for the wires?

I have been getting a UO error, so have taken vent off and cleaned it, but I'm still getting the error. When I start a cycle the vent unit makes a clicking sound and then the error message comes up. Do you think from these symptoms that I need to replace the vent unit? I have also read that it could be the circuit board. Thanks

I have read the questions/answers from other consumers and found them helpful. I took the vent/fan assembly off and am noticing the vent is moving up and down, not staying open or closed. After it goes through this cycle is when I get the ER uo error. The spring is good, I cleaned the hard water that was on the gasket and everything else in there was clean. Can you shed any light on what else I could try?

Latest Questions

I'm also getting the vent open error. I opened the vent assembly to clean out the hard water build-up. The spring is good, as are other areas. The only thing I lack in putting it back together to test it, before having to replace it entirely, is arranging the fan itself back in place. Is it meant to blow in, or out? Which way it was facing is the one thing I didn't seem to memorize when taking it apart.

My dishwasher model fdbb4365fco is displaying an error of UF. After researching the internet I think that it could possible be caused by a clog. Can you please tell me where the vent is located and how to clear the clog? Also is there anything else that may be causing this error? Thank you.
