I am getting the error code ER ou on my control pannel. thIs code according to the service data sheet says that it it for a vent not closing. the only vent that I have found is the one on top of the washer tub and it says that it is not servicable on the cover. Is this the correct part and location? (AP5688407)
Answer Hello Gray,
This unit has no ou code but there is an UO code. This code indicates that the vent is open. If the unit cannot get the correct response from the vent after 5 attempts to close the vent, the unit will display this code. If replacing the vent assembly 154861101 does not correct the issue, the control board 154815601 should be replaced.
We are receiving the codes eR an uF. Do I need a new vent motor?
The UF error is for the fan not running. While in drying cycle, Main Control Board not sensing vent fan motor rotation at correct speed. Check wiring between vent assembly and Main Control Board. If correct, replace vent assembly. If error still exist replace Main Control Board.
The eR is a membrane failure. Main Control Board has detected a stuck key or a key pressed for more than one minute. Check connection from keypad to Main Control Board. If correct, replace keypad. If error still exist, replace Main Control Board. (Note: washing, drying, and clean s may appear in display when error code is present)
I'm getting error code "UO" what is the correct vent assembly part number for replacement on this model?
Answer Hello Mike. The model number you provided is not good. We will need your model number to help you with this. Please post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx
