Does the Volute cover control the amount of water going up to the top of the dishwasher as well as the amount of water used for the bottom sprayer? My dishwasher seems to not send enough water to the top but the bottom sprays real well.

Answer Hi Brad. Have you removed the racks and cleaned the entire unit ? This is advisable since all the pressure is flowing from the sum of all parts. Use a shop vac and towels to assist. you. Use a pick tool to dislodge the spray arms jet blockage's. rinse all parts under the sink and examine anything for wear or breakage. Remember to un bolt the motor mount ans examine the impeller on the motor shaft. It is part # 154859201.
