Trying to replace the water actuator. The three screws to take the front panel off are rusted in place and I cannot unscrew. Tried using WD-40 to no avail. Any suggestions?

The water dispenser in the door has a very slow but constant drip, is there an adjustment or will a new lever fix this problem? It seems to leak right out of the tube where the water comes out to fill your glass.

For some reason my icemaker will only produce crushed ice. If I have it set to cubes I still get crushed.

Latest Questions

Hello, I recently replaced the water actuator of my Frigidaire Electrolux fridge and after reassembling the front panel and reconnecting the fridge the water won't stop flowing. I disassembled again and checked the switch that the actuator activates to see if it was stuck but it doesn't seem to be so. However, the water won't stop flowing until I unplug the frridge again. I read in some forums that it could be that the circuit broke when disassembling. Can you help?

My water dispenser and ice maker is barely working. The water drips out to make a full glass you have to stand there for 15-20 minutes and if you press the water lever it will come out a little more than it goes back to drip. It isn't making ice anymore. Before it would make ice chips that would melt instantly in water. What options or suggestions is there than I can try? I'm thinking of buying a new filter. Is that a good idea? There are no holes in any of the hoses.
