Hello and good day. Thanks so much for this wonderful service. Our slide in electric range needs a new small surface element. It is an old Hotpoint. When I open the oven door, the serial number plate is on the right side, it lists the serial number, and then a catalog number 307RF50. I'm guessing that's the model number, but I don't know why they called it a catalog number. The surface element has a built-on pivot bracket that screws to the stovetop. Can you please try to help me find the correct replacement element?

Actually, my question is simular to Guest's, except my stove is from, I believe, 1963. The model number is located on the plate metal under the front left hand burner. I'm looking to replace two burners so that I don't have to remodel the kitchen. Any ideas? I've been looking through antique stove part websites for 3 yrs. now.

Also it is on a hinge and has a white ceramic block as pictured on the part number AP2027832, so I think this is the part needed. Answer Hello Karen, The part listed WB30X359 is a factory authorized replacement part. The instructions give you the instructions on how to retrofit the part to your unit. It is the only part endorsed by the manufacturer for the repair of this model. The instructions explain in detail how to install it for proper operation. For the matching 8 inch element order AP2027829. Includes the ceramic terminal blocks, clips and screws for mounting.

I do not know the age of my oven with 4 electic hobs (3 6"5 ring elements, 1 8" 6 ring element) but the model number is listed as J BS03 003AD. I need to replace one of the 6" elements - do you know which part number I require? Thanks.
