I have a ge washer model GTWN4250D1WS. The top portion of the agitator does seem to engage and pull cloths down into tube. I fixed this problem on my old machine by replaces the dog ears, but cant find where this can be done on the GE model. Only reference I can find is to replace either the agitator assembly or the coupling. Is there not a way to take the agitator apart and replace dog ears?

Hi, I have a GE washer. The agitator stops turning and it looks not broken. The washer can still spin and drain. The belt and motor seem fine. Do you suggest to replace the agitator coupler, agitator assembly or both? Thank you. Jason

The agitator doesn't draw the clothes down to the bottom of the washer. The top of the agitator seems loose and when I put my hand on the top and push down it seems to agitate correctly... The machine it self seems to be working, don't think I need to replace the little teeth(that's what I call them), dogs.
