Should the top section of my GE washer agitator move in a controlled way or just slightly move from the bottom parts agitation? The bottom circular part that hooks into the washer moves very well but the shaft part just floats along. I am trying to decide if the agitator needs to be replaced or if this is the way the washer agitator is suppose to function. Thank you

My washer fills and drains but does not spin enough to get all the water out of the clothes.

I places a small robe with an attached belt. It has managed to get tangled and twisted around the bottom underneath the agitator. Is there any way to remove the agitator so as to release the robe and render the machine workable again? (We are renting this home for a week, so time is of essence!) Thank you.

Hello, my top load washer has stopped spinning and will make this loud noise as if its unbalanced, it does fill and drain and is also making a clicking noise at the knob and is leaking water. HELP

We bought the agitator assembly since the clothes were not agitating. When I put it on, it still does not agitate, but looks like it tries. Should the bell that the agitator assembly fits on be able to move? When placed on the gear, it does not move. But when you push it down further, like when the assembly is on it, it moves freely.

Hi, I have a GE Washer, Model GTWP1800D0WW and recently I had to have a repairman replace the selection dial on my washer. He suggested I keep an eye on the agitator because it seemed unusually loose and the upper part wobbles back and forth. Is that a sign the agitator needs to be replaced? Should I be checking something else too? Thanks

Laura
