How do I remove the Auger Front Nut without using plyers, thus damaging the white plastic exterior?

Answer Hello Jerry. There is a flat slot in the front nut WR1X1585. You can use a flat blade screwdriver and unscrew the nut off the auger in the unit. Hope this helps.
