My ice dispenser stopped dispensing ice. The Drive Auger Disp (AP3672416) was loose on the Auger Motor (AP4343501) shaft. If I hand tightened the Drive Auger Disp it would temporarily dispense ice. I removed the Drive Auger Disp but it looks like the threads on the shaft closest to the base of the Auger Motor have been worn down / damaged. I pulled flakes from the Drive Auger Disp threads. I have photos of the parts. Does it seem like I need a new Auger Motor, as well as, a Drive Auger Disp? With new parts does the Drive Auger Disp simply thread onto the Auger Motor shaft?

My refrigerator makes ice but it does not dispense. When you press the actuator the green LED turns on like there is power but the auger motor does not turn and the solenoid does not move. Does the actuator only close the switch to power the components? I tested the switch the actuator presses and there is continuity (which explains why the LED turns on). Would a faulty auger motor prevent the solenoid from working as well? I find it interesting multiple components are not working.

My motor still works although the shaft is stripped. I took apart and it is attached to a gear and comes out easily. Can this piece be replaced without replacing the entire motor? Thanks,

All 4 screws holding the motor have stripped from the motor housing. Motor still works... Can new screws be ordered from you or can I just buy some from local hardware store? If so what type are needed as your video shows them to be self tapping.

Ice Dispenser Problems!! Trouble Is, I have replaced the solenoid thinking I was on the right track. Pulled the motor out and checked it for continuity. Had continuity. Symptoms are, with ice box in, motor will turn 3/4" turn, then stop, Interface will go dim, drop an ice cube and do it again all over. I did replace the interface dispenser in desperation, but did not change. I am back to the motor again. With ice box out it has same symptoms when bypassed. Water is working fine. Auger is my 3rd replacement and I made sure it wasn't broken again. Problem seems to be at the motor. Everything is pointing in that direction, but maybe its something else. I have read a lot of your responses but none seemed to fit the bill. Comments appreciated!
