I ordered your bearing for the rear drum part WE 3x75. I was very pleased but am confused. Videos I watched said to replace the o-ring on the end of the shaft. Your order enclosed a slip of paper that said it was not necessary to replace the retaining ring on the the end of the shaft. There was no ring of any kind when I took my dryer apart. Do I need to purchase one and if so can I purchase it from you?

I have disassembled the drum and unscrewed the three screws at the back of the drum to inspect the bearing. It does need to be replaced. I am trying to re-attach the drum to the bearing with the three screws and cannot get the holes is the drum/shim plate/heat shield/bearing to align so that I can put the screws back in. Could you describe the procedure for this re-assembly?

I was trying to take the motor out of a Whirlpool Quiet Dry Dryer and used the 13/16 wrench on one end and 7/16 wrench on the other just as you recommended. The shaft that I needed to unscrew the motor from just fell apart like it was made of cheese. Now it's totally stripped and I can't get the motor off to replace it. A 10 minute job turned into a frustrating delay. Do I have to cut the motor off and replace the plastic blower?

Latest Questions

I purchased the rear drum bearing kit. How is the ground strap attached to the bearing. The kit came with a sheet of paper that shows the ground strap but it is not clear at all, it has a very poor picture.

GE dryer works fine but makes a terrible squeaking noise. For some loads there will be no noise and others a terrible high pitch shrill. Anything in particular I should be looking for when I take it apart to as certain if its the rear bearing or the bearing slide?

My dryer works fine, but when it's on it makes a very loud screeching sound. I was told it needs new pads. What part is this?
