Where can I find my model number?

I have a GE stackable washer. It was brought to my attention that the clothes were not coming out very clean even with pre treated and minimal dirt on the clothing. I observed the washer through all of its various cycles and noticed that the agitator was not spinning in the agitation cycle, yet the motor was running. I then opened up the front access panel to observe the transmission. The belt was not broken and the flywheels were turning but the shaft was not. I inspected the agitator and nothing was broken on the agitator itself. I suspect there may be something wrong with the transmission. I did some research and what I found suggested that the drive block might need to be replaced. Whats your opinion?

Answer Hello Scott, If you lift the agitator off and check to see if the agitator shaft is moving will washing then you would want to replace drive block. The drive block would be the most likely cause of agitator not operating.

Answer Hello Roy, It sounds like there may be something in between the inner and outer tub of unit that may be making the noise. With the model number off the washer we may be able to provide more information if there is nothing between tubs.
