Lost all display on the door. Fridge/freezer work fine. Water/ice do not work. Which board would this be if wiring is good?
Answer Hello Gb,
You need to test from J4-1 to J4-2, (red to black), on the main control board for 12Vdc. If this voltage is not present, you have a main board WR55X10942 or TJCB10942 failure. If the voltage is present, you will need to go to the display baord and test for the 12Vdc on terminals J4-1 to J4-2, (white to black). If it is not there, the issue is going to be in the harness, most likely at the door hinge. If the voltage is present, the display board WR55X11044 is the problem.
I repaced the inface board and wiill not work.
Answer Hello Bennett. Is there power to the dispenser board?
If not, check for a broke wire at the hinge on the door.
If no bad wires, replace the main board in the back.
in diagram. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
Hi. I need to order this, however, I do not know how to take off the old and replace with this? Please advise if it is simple to do and if I can do it myself? Is there instructions that come with this?
Answer Hi John. On the fountain controls bottom area, look for the 3 underside release clips that need released with a small pick tool or screwdriver one by one. Then pull out the bottom as the top tabs will come with the top. Remove the electrical connectors that connect on the back side of the control board. Then remove the inner dispenser mount 4-corner screws. The display led boards are at the lt. and rt. inner dispenser areas. Lighting board assy. part WR55X10899. You replace them individually. Thank You.
