When the was cycle starts it starts spinning while it's filling up and leaks thru tub gasket. Do I need to replace the board?
Based on the unit spinning when it is filling then yes, the most likely cause will be the control board that is faulty and would need to be replaced.
I recently replaced the mode shifter and all works fine except for that fact that it wont spin. It agitates during the spin cycle instead of spinning like it did befor the mode shifter died.
Answer Hello Randy. There is a few things to check here. Remove the pressure hose from the pressure switch and blow out the air chamber on the side of the tub. If the washer senses there is water still in it, it does not drain. Also, make sure the pressure switch is good on the unit. Either will cause the issue you are having with the unit. Also, make sure the connection of the mode shifter is good on the unit.
