My ice dispenser keeps spitting out ice. I replaced the circuit board about 9 months ago, now it is doing again. Please help!
Answer Hello Andrew,
Several things can cause this. One is if the polarity to the receptacle is incorrect. Another is if the unit has no proper earth ground, (the bottom round terminal on the units power cord cannot be cut off or if an adaptor is used to plug the unit into a two hole wall outlet, the center adaptor of the adaptor has to be connected to a proper ground). The last thing is a bad power supply on the main board could be sending an improper voltage to the dispense board. I would include the part number for the main board but I cannot look it up with no model number.
The water quit working. I changed the filter but still doesn't work. The crushed ice and cubed ice still work. Is it the dispenser control board?
Answer Hello John. Remove the water line from the bottom of the freezer door and see if water comes out there. If so, the water line is frozen inside the freezer door.
Ice maker is not working. Green light is flashing.
Answer Hello Todd. Based on the information you provided, the icemaker is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit.
