Answer You will want to make sure the timer is advancing to the drain cycle. If it does you should hear a solenoid located at the bottom click on and the pump come on. You can remove the toe panel on front to verify the solenoid is working. Lastly check the pump for any obstructions not allowing the flappers to function properly.

Answer Hello Eric, Based on the information it sounds like the body valve and check assembly would need to be replaced. Since piston and nut were replaced not log ago.

Answer Hello Gary, You would want to pull the hose off the side of the drain and see if water comes out. If water comes out then you will need to replace the pump assembly WD26X10013. If the unit does not have water come out then you have a restriction inside the pump and would need to be cleaned out. Some water may trickle out with a block but no block it will pour out.

Answer Sylvia, Yes the "check valve and body" need to be connected to the drain pump, by way of the hose WD24X221 and then to the drain hose, through the pump assembly. It works as an "anti syphon device" and keeps drain water from backing up into the dishwasher tub. For health and safety reasons, you do want to have it attached or connected properly. Thanks

Answer Hello Susie. If the unit fills with water and the motor runs, but does not spray out any water, you may have a bad impeller kit and need to order and replace part number WD19X10032.

Answer Robyn, Checking and cleaning the filter and sump isn't too hard (Remove the lower rack, remove the screw from the rectangular grille on the bottom of the top, behind the lower spary arm, and lift it and the sump cap out, clean and reinstall everything, after you check and clean out the sump housing as best possiblr).You also need to check and make sure the water is hot enough(120 dgrs. minimum on the first fill and the detergent is not too old, low water temperature and old detergent will also leave a "gritty" substance on the dishes, the detergent does't disvolve and break down properly.
