I had look into it and it's not the water valve leak. Still couldn't figure out why my ice maker motor kept on freezing up. Any help be greatly appreciated.

Answer TL, Check and make sure, the ice dispenser door is sealing properly(no air leaks and no light) when it closes. also make sure the air temperature in the freezer compartment is 5 to 7 dgrs.F. You shouldn't need the auger motor boot, unless there are visible cracks and deformities in it. But you may need the motor assembly if the problem persists. Thanks and Good Luck

Hi. My ice maker motor keep on freezing up on me. I've turn off the freezer and cleaning everything inside and wait for the motor to unfreeze. When ever I plugged in the power the ice maker motor seem to work fine but 3 hours later it started to froze up again. I once took the ice maker motor out and let it sat for 3 hours and put it back into the freezer. The motor work fine the first few hours than it's started to froze up again. In the past when this happen I checked the ice bin and notice several huge chunk of ice sticking together. Not sure whether the temperature of the freezer also have an effect on the ice motor frozing up or not. I always kept my freezer temperature at 5/5.

Answer Hello TL. Check and see if the icemaker is leaking into the bin and on the motor. If so, you will need to replace the water valve WR57X10032 on the unit. Hope this helps.

The freezer does not keep steady temperature between -20 c to -10 c what can I do to fix it?

Answer Hi Eddie. There are 2 - thermistors in the freezer. Part # is WR55X10025. One in the fresh food area by the damper part # is [AP318540] also. Thank you.

Answer Hi Eddie. This boot is designed to aid in this issue. Couple more things,make sure you monitor your ice- bin because it can overflow and jam the motor shaft from too much ice. The Ice maker can short and continuously call for water. So if you ever have a sheet of ice build up on the upper back wall, Shut off ice maker and immediately clean up frozen over fill. The motor auger boot is part # WR02X11295. Thank you.
