I have a GE dish washer model number GSD3630F00WW and warter is leaking from the selinoid actuator . How can I remove the assembly and fix it. Thank You
Fred
Answer Hello Fred,
There are several configurations so if I could please ask you to re-post with a model number, we can give you accurate instructions.
Our unit is draining, just not as forcefully as it used too. Recently, we have noticed some standing water in bottom of unit around drain and definitely a full Sump Inlet.
I took some of it apart tonight and cleaned out the water to make sure nothing was plugged. I could spin the 'blade' inside the Sump Inlet and it does appear the Solenoid is opening and closing (is it possible it is not opening/closing all the way?).
If the motor is bad, do I need to buy the whole assembly?
It is starting to take on an unpleasant odor - please help soon!
Thanks for your time.

Answer Matt, You first want to remove the lower wash arm, the sump cover and sump filter cap and check and remove any debris etc. from the sump. . Disconnect the dishwasher drain hose from the drain system under the kitchen sink, start a wash cycle, and let run a few minutes(at least 5 minutes) Then dcancel the cycle and drain the dishwasher into a large bucket or container(you may want to do this at least twice), this should clear any debris in the drain hose and or lower pump assembly. If the performance doesn't improve, you'll need to remove the pump assembly, and check the impeller assembly WD19X10039 for damaged vanes and obstructions in the assembly.
It leaks a little where the solenoid assembley mounts to the pump assembly. How can I stop the small leak-when it changes cylcles?

Answer Hello Tony. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the solenoid assembly WD21X10060 is bad and will need to be replaced.
