Hi. So far fresh food still not cooling frzr cold. Main board installed fresh (repair guy did not cut the 2 wires as I found instructions indicated...I fixed and boom the actual actual temp was finally displayed for the fresh. Next repair guy actually looked inside the back of the freezer...all frozen. His fix the thermo bi-metal. Worked for a few days...once he propped the damper open. Now back up to 66 or so. Hardly any air is coming through the shoot between the to areas. The evap fan runs and actually stopped for about 5 mins a little bit ago. I checked the fresh and frzr thermistors...just not gotten in to the frzr wall to get at the evap thermistor and no wondering if the 2nd repair guy even checked the heater or if maybe the Temp control board is the ticket. Any suggestions?

My Refrigerator will not cool, but the freezer is working correctly. A repair man came out and replaced the motherboard on the back of the machine and it is still not working correctly. It seems that the door that opens and closes between the freezer and the refrigerator is not working. I have checked it and it is closed. The temperature gauge on the top of the refrigerator says it is 34 degrees in the refrigerator. It is not. It is more like 50 degrees or higher. The repairman came back out and swapped the motherboard again. He manually opened the door between the refrigerator and the freezer. It worked for less than 12 hours and the door closed itself again. Does the wr55X10340 control this door? Where does the display get the 34 degree reading from? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Both temperature LEDs are off -- not displaying anything. The LEDs just went out and for the temperatures in the fridge and freezer seem OK. The compressor is running. What part(s) need replacement?

I have a GE refrigerator that quit working. It has power because the lights work but nothing else. The temperature control display does not light up. I don’t know if it is the main board in the back of the fridge or the display. Do you have any ideas?
