Answer Hello Jim. You need to check and see if there is power going to the water valve when the icemaker cycles. If so, replace the water valve on the unit. If not, or the icemaker does not cycle, you will need to replace the icemaker on the unit. Also, check and make sure the fill tube on the unit is not frozen and clogged. If so, replace the water valve and thaw out the fill tube. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Answer Judy, You're almost correct, you want to check the shifter arm on the ice bucket WR17X11411 and make sure the end of the arm is in the solenoid stirrup WR17X1066 and that the solenoid WR62X58 activates when the "cubed ice" selection is made and the paddle is pressed. You'll need to remove the ice bin, tape the freezer door switch closed and observe the operation of the solenoid in the housing on the back of the freezer compartment.
