I have received my replacement bowls. I have a Kenmore gas cooktop. I have taken the screws out but there is a wire below attached to what I think is the spark ignitor which is on top. How do I detach the spark ignitor from the bowl?. It is attached to a wire underneath and it didn't not detach easily. I don't want to damage it trying to detach it. Do you pull the white piece on top off or do you unscrew it or what? Just not sure. Thanks for your help.

Latest Questions

Our GE Profile cooktop has 5 burners and the opening for the burner bowls are all about 8 1/4" in diameter. Having a hard time knowing what size burner bowls we need--small, med, or large. Also, we need to replace the seals and I'm not sure if those are differentiated by size also. Thanks
