Our GE Profile cooktop has 5 burners and the opening for the burner bowls are all about 8 1/4" in diameter. Having a hard time knowing what size burner bowls we need--small, med, or large. Also, we need to replace the seals and I'm not sure if those are differentiated by size also. Thanks
Answer Hello Blake,
You will need to determine which burners have large, medium, and small holes in the center. This is the only way to determine since the GE website has the exact same parts list and explosion and it is not noted in the parts list. As a note, the burner bowl seals are listed as no longer available and no satisfactory substitutions have been provided.
How many ea do you get of the burner plates? 3 of mine are the same & the other one has a smaller hole in the middle. But I don't know if they are Large or Med or Small??
Answer Cathy, the burner bowls come one per package. Your unit uses one large part number WB31K5079, two medium part number WB31K5080, and one small part number WB31K5081. The difference is in the center opening. Hope this helps you, thanks.
My model JGP336 burner bowl has two screws on plate. Will WB31K5079 model work for my stove top?
Answer Hello CJ! The large burner bowl part number WB31K5079 is the correct replacement for GE JGP336WE* models. This is used on the large burner. For the medium burner use part number WB31K5080. For the small burner use part number WB31K5081. The listed drip bowls are white in color. Thanks!
