Had the ice maker replace. However, now that it is making ice again the ice despensed is always crushed. I can not get it to despense cubed. Does this mean I need to replace the ice bucket and assembly?

Answer Pam, No, This doesn't mean you need a new ice bucket assembly. You first want to make sure the end of the shifter arm on the bucket is properly installed in the solenoid yoke WR17X1066 so when the solenoid is activated it raises the arm and cubes are dispensed. You will also want to check the wire harness at the freezer door hinge, make sure there are no loose connections or frayed, broken wires. Then you will need to access and check the cube solenoid WR62X58 " The ice dispenser drive motor and cube solenoid are located in the upper rear of the freezer compartment. The drive motor moves the auger via a fork located on the drive motor. The cube solenoid allows cube or crushed ice to be dispensed on demand. 1. Remove 1/4-in. housing mounting screws (4) located at the four corners of the housing.
2. Slide the housing forward until the connector is visible, disconnect the connector, and remove the unit from the housing. 3. Disconnect the cube solenoid wires. 4. Remove cube solenoid 1/4-in. mounting screws (2) and remove the cube solenoid." You'll need a test light or multi meter to check for voltage to the solenoid when cubed ice is selected and the paddle is pressed. If there is no voltage to the solenoid then the dispenser control board is at fault WR55X10562

Answer Hello Ken,
The WR32X10075 is a white ice bucket. We could look up the one for your model if we could please ask you to verify the model number off of the units' I.D. tag. We are sorry to put you to this additional trouble but it is the only way to get the part specifically for your model.
