My condenser fan is constantly running, however my compressor is silent, not hot or vibrating and my refrigerator is not cooling properly (freezer 40 deg F and fridge 55 deg F). From what i have read, it can be the compressor, the inverter or the control board. How do I go about figuring out which one has the issue?
Answer JMC, To perform the tests and properly diagnose the issue with your refrigerator, you will need a multi meter TJMA-DM1, clamp on amp meter TJMA-600CF so you can verify the proper voltage, amp draw and wattages for the mother board, inverter and compressor. If you were going to guess, you may want to start at the inverter, it could be a failed circuit, causing the compressor to run at the "low speed" setting and this would cause poor cooling. If you could repost your question(s) and attach a e mail address we could supply you more accurate and illustrated information to help you through the testing procedures.
