The upper arm does not always rotate. The glasses rarely are cleaned and there is granular debris deposited in the glasses or cups. What do you think the problem is?

Answer Hi. Look at all wash arm jet holes to make sure they are not clogged. If so then remove them, using a pick tool to clear the holes and rinse them out under the sink. Make sure that the top rack is fully inserted into the wash manifold when it is pushed back in. Make sure the water manifold has no leaks. If the lower filter screens and intake traps are not cleaned then the wash water will not reach the top arm part # WD22X10045. Use dishwasher Magic part # W10282479 after cleaning the traps and screen filter monthly to keep proper performance levels. Thank You.
