The display reads "door lock". I can not conduct a test to check the problem. When I hit the power button, the pump starts up and run for about three minutes and then the door lock kick in 3 times, but does not lock, the shuts off. The "door lock" is still in the display. Please help.

My washer "door lock" is in the display. However, the door is not locked. It will not lock or run a cycle. Can not enter the test mode. I tried to unlock the door by trying to enter the test mode. I completed the flowing test : Press signal button. Press delay start button. Press signal button. Press delay start button. All the button on the main control works (illuminate) when press. Everything looks good until you try to start it up. Do you have any suggestions as to what the problem might be? I changed this control panel with a used control board and got the same results.

My GE Adora has decided not to behave after 2+ years of several loads a day. The washer's drum wouldn't rotate, the drain pump is running constantly and it stopped pulling in water. So I replaced the water inlet valve. The machine is still not pulling in water, or spinning, and the drain is still pumping. The machine won't go into "test mode" either, it just locks the door and doesn't do anything. When I select a cycle, the numbers all match up to what they should be. When you select a cycle and start it, it only thinks about running with the drain pump running the whole time) for a few minutes then it unlocks and shuts off. I love this tank of a washing machine, and I am willing to fix it. I just have this sneaking suspicion that my control board has croaked.

My question is that on my unit the red lock light stays on either power on or off and the unit will not do anything, I did the diag. and it did not throw any codes. I cleaned the filter, checked the hoses and connections. and unplugged the unit for over 48 house. I tried every combination of buttons pushes that I have found on the internet. A GE repair man said the unit is locked in child protection mode. Oh the door is not locked. But it does lock when I go into test mode. HELP!!!!!!!!

After power up and pressing start, the machine beeps twice and does nothing else. I assume bad door switch but I tried to enter test mode but after pressing the buttons in sequence, I again get 2 beeps and no code display. Bad board too? Also, after powering down then up, it defaults to the whites cycle every time. Thanks.

Have to hit the power button many times before it works. Hit the button to change the spin speed and the "soil level" changes. Hit the START button and the Delay start kicks in. So frustrating!!!
