Helllo, The compressor on this GE fridge runs but does not get cold. The defrost coil is OK. The defrost timer appears to be OK but might have been stuck. I turned the timer manually to check the contacts (ohm meter) and it felt like it was stuck initially. Any suggestions?

I have GE Refrigerator and the freezer fan makes this loud noise for awhile and then will stop. There is a small build up of ice on the back part of the freezer. The refrigerator seems to have some stuff frozen, and a build up too just by the light. I have adjusted the temp but does not really make that much difference. Sometimes this noise will go on for hours, and then just a few minutes. Please help... thank you

The freezer is cold, but the refridgerator is warm. There appears to be a build up of ice in the back of the freezer. We completely defrosted it 3 days ago now it is frozen up again and same issue.

My GE Hotpoint refrigerator just completely stopped working the other day. It's a top-mount freezer. I have power to the controls, but not down at the compressor or fan. Up in the freezer section there is no power either. I checked the thermostat control and that is good, but it seems like I have nothing coming out of the defrost control (timer). Can this part hold out the entire refrigeration cycle??
