My problem is similar to others here. The keypad has stopped responding (the soft touch keys). The display lights up and shows the clock (which stays stuck at the same time) after recycling the power, but the keys just simply do not respond. If I replace the sub assembly, part #WB07X10972, will I need additional parts as well or should this be sufficient?

I'm sorry I gave you an incorrect model number for this question. The correct model number is: JVM2070SK02 The 3 buttons on the control panel have pushed into the unit and dropped out of sight below their holes. I'm referring to the plastic buttons. The control panel itself is fine. This is a mechanical failure of the buttons or whatever holds them in place. I have not removed the control panel to investigate further. I don't want to go to the expense of replacing the entire panel--an expensive part. Hope I've explained the problem clearly and that you can help. How do you open the 40 pin ribbon cable connector on the touch panel motherboard? It does not flip up to expose the cable like a computer. Appears the whole connector must be removed from the board and replaced when attaching new cable (from touch pad). Thanks so much.

I see a lot of questions posted here about the touch pad not responding or not displaying, you are recommening here to replace the entire control panel sub-assy PN WB07X10972, Soooo.. 2 questions, (1) the photos attached here do not indicate whether your sub-assy panel includes both control boards? (part #130 on diagram), or (2) is AP3884377 smart board (part 134 on diagram) included or not included in the WB07X10972 control panel sub-assy? Thanks.

Hi-when I plug in, the clock menu appears. But will not let you cancel or move from this screen. As you hit the cancel button, the number one just fills the clock time. Then if you unplug for a few minutes, and plug back in you can get by the screen and go to the menu. But few buttons work. You can get it on and it will work and heat items but not consistent and typically it's the sensor option and might say vegetable cook and you are heating water. Any idea what part I need? The light, fan work fine. Thanks!
