I am building a custom oven for powder coating. Im looking for a convection fan to circulate the air to keep the heat levels more even inside the oven. From the picture it looks like this motor includes the fans also. Is that correct? And also, how much space is between the mounting surface and the fan that circulates the in-oven air?
Answer Hello Jay. All the information we can find on the part shows it does come with the blade, however, we do not have one on hand to check and make sure. Also, the manufacturer does not offer the space between the blade and motor. If you order the part and are not happy with it, we do offer a 365 day return policy on the part. Thanks.
How difficult is it to change this part? It looks fairly simple. Should I expect a problem moving the fan blade to the new motor?
Answer Hello Mark,
This shouldn't be too hard to change. The fan should slide right off when the screw is loosened. You will probably have to open the back also, but this generally varies from model to model. Some can just be changed from the inside. Be sure to discontinue power before beginning the repair. I know it's tempting to use the interior light while you work, but believe me, a flashlight works just fine and i much safer!
